Last post was some time ago because of a small detour away from hooking after over doing.Thought I would add some photos.
The leaves at fall foliage are amazing. I picked up a few, dyed spot wool to match, and made these useful teapot mats.
We never seem to run out of wool strips and they make a perfect lamb's tongue border.
Working a tessellation rug can be tedious but rewarding when all the tiles fall into place as in the top rug. There can be no overlaps and no gaps. Porter, our grand doggy loves the ocean and the tennis ball behind him won't stay there long. The proud rooster resided in our back yard on Cape Cod--didn't make it to Vermont. the lion is an adaption of one seen at a Vermont museum and then the leaf rug really made the recycled wool stand out.
Happy New Year and I hope I get to post more often
Julianne
